How Igor Burma got into the business
Ihor Burma was born on June 7, 1969, in Chernivtsi. He was brought up in a whole family and studied at secondary school № 5, from which he successfully graduated in 1986. Right after finishing school, he checked the chosen specialty at the chemistry department of the Chernivtsi National University. The studies were easy, but he had to interrupt them for 2 years for army service. In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he rose from private to deputy platoon leader, demobilized with the rank of master sergeant in 1989 and then returned to university.
In 1991, Igor Burma began his career as a teacher. He taught chemistry at a school and high school in his hometown. The graduates and the staff remember the young chemist with fondness. After graduating from the university with honours in 1992, he continued his career at the school. But the ’90s were extremely difficult for young professionals. Salaries in education were minimal and constantly delayed; there were no prospects in this field.
Therefore, when the young specialist received an offer to work at “NIKO” in 1993, he accepted it. As a result, Igor Burma started his work at the official distributor of Mitsubishi motors, where he grew from manager to general director for 3 years. At that time, Igor Leonidovich was 25 years old. Later he took the post of the vice-president of the “NIKO” group of companies. Under his leadership, the holding became one of the leading operators in the automotive market of Ukraine and received membership in the European Business Association and American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine.
In 1998 Igor Burma established “Ukrbrokservice” LLC and is still the majority owner of the Company. The Company specializes in customs clearance procedures and operates throughout Ukraine on the perimeter of the border. The Company’s services include:
- registration of customs import, export and transit;

- drawing up documentary support for a variety of cargo;

- challenging illegal decisions made by customs authorities.
The services of “Ukrbrokservice” are used by individuals and enterprises of different forms of ownership.
