National Parks Pass
Western Australia’s national parks provide a host of activities and experiences for visitors. Hiking through rugged gorges to snorkeling pristine lagoons to relaxing on white sandy beaches – Western Australian national parks boast stunning landscapes and otherworldly natural features that make for unforgettable visits.
Your travel plans and needs may dictate which methods of saving on national park entry fees best suit you; passes can be purchased directly at individual parks (often using an honesty box, so bring cash), an annual pass covers most WA parks for one year, holiday or concession passes are also available, plus holiday and concession passes offer even further savings opportunities.
An annual all parks pass is an economical solution for visiting multiple parks over an extended holiday, as it can save money while offering access to 4 week holiday passes or the Goldstar Pass (combines an all parks pass with one year subscription to LANDSCOPE magazine).
Note that while many parks charge per vehicle, others may charge by person – meaning one pass can cover everyone in your vehicle. This applies for attractions with individual admission charges such as Avon Descent; Calgardup or Giants Cave; Karijini; Geikie Gorge boat tour; Monkey Mia Conservation Park; Dryandra Woodland night tours and animal viewing as well as Perth Observatory where separate admission charges apply.
